She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherwood Smith and Mary Pauline Kimber Smith; her husband Clarence Edward York; and her siblings, James, Anthony and Phyllis.
She is survived by: her children, Clarence Jr. (LaTina), Yusef, Ceasar, Derrick, Lisa, Nikita, Timothy, Jeffrey and Joshua; and her siblings, William (Debra), Janice, Sharon, Keith, Alice and Patrick (Curryta). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
