She was predeceased by: her parents, Sammuel Lester "Sam" Gouge and Edna Simerly Gouge; and her brother Kenneth Gouge. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence J. Lanier; her children, Scott Lanier (Vicki) of Virginia, Beth Miller (Dana) of Charlotte and Lynette Tuttle (Keith) of Little River, SC; her grandchildren, Allison Tuttle, Nikki Orbison, Josuha Orbison, Andrew Lanier, Ray Lanier and Eva Marie Cartwright; her great grandchildren, Alexa Kittle and Alivia Gubanez; her sisters, Glenna Bennett and Aloma Lane; her nieces and nephews, Kathy Bennett Padgett, Sandra Lane Heath, Ron Lane, Scott, Brian and Greg Gouge; and her friends, Janice Neal, Treva Grandy, Harold Gandy, Jack Ellis, Brenda Bowman, Michelle Flowers and Holly Burgess.
