He is survived by: his children, Ruth Ann Jacob (Ed) of Taylorsville, Gena Sue Chambers of Concord and Chappie Eugene Chambers of Manchester, CT; his grandsons, Nicholas Jacobs (Emily) of Taylorsville and Joshua Jacobs of Taylorsville; his great grandchild Archer; his brother Mike Chambers (Glenda) of Winston-Salem; and his sister-in-law Catherine Sloan of Snellville, GA. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
