He was predeceased by: his father Roberto Atencio; and his brother David. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Atencio of Winston-Salem; his wife Indy Suarez; his son Daniel Zando of London; and his sisters, Susana Serrano of Winston-Salem, Mariela Belkhiter (Bruno) of Lewisville and Patricia Jones of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
