He was predeceased by: his parents, Demetrius Thomas and Dolores Sample Thomas. He is survived by: his sisters, Cheryl Thomas Sheads, Charlene Thomas McCarthy (Paul), Caron Thomas Sharp (Jack), Carole Thomas Herndon (Terry) and Cynthia Thomas Black. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews; 13 grand nieces and nephews; several cousins.
