He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Melinda Beasley and Charlie Wade Powell; and his brothers, Curtis Powell and Charles Powell. He is survived by: his children, Antonio Lavarous Powell, Terrick Mangle and Kandace Parie Powell; his grandchildren, Paris Breonna Powell, Robert William Gordon, IV, Madison Grace Gordon, Octavious Alexander Banks, Addison Toni Rose Powell and Nya Eleanore Powell; his great grandchildren, Noah Kade Powell and Nasir Banks; and his siblings, Vanessa Ann Powell, Cynthia Stivender and Reginald Powell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
