He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Weldon McDowell, Sr. and Sylvia Haynes McDowell. He is survived by: his wife Teresa McDowell; his children, Maggie Ellen McDowell of Winston-Salem and Nicholas Lee McDowell of Winston-Salem; his siblings, Howard "Skip" Weldon McDowell, Jr. (Mayumi) of Atlanta, GA and Lisa McDowell Wike (Todd) of Winston-Salem; his nephews, Jordan Wike and Nathan Wooten (Kayla); his niece Ashley Wooten (Adam); his friend Rene Swing (Robin); and his fur-kid Sour Patch. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
