He was predeceased by: his parents, Ryan Sink and Mary Frances Sink; and his sisters, Nancy V. Forcum and Merlyn R. Stokes (A. G.). He is survived by: his wife Theresa Mulvaney Sink; his children, Angela Marie Sink, Joseph and Richard Sink; his siblings, Thomas Sink (Judy), Carrene Sink and SuEllen Pruitt (Marshal); his grandchildren, Mary Frances Sink and Cheyenne Booth; his great grandchild Winston Reynolds; and his brother-in-law Joe Forcum. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The Sink Family suggests memorials be made in Richard's name to the Medi Health Hospice (315 S. Talbert Blvd., Lexington, NC 27292) or Wake Forest Cancer Center (3rd Floor Medical Center Boulevard Winston-Salem, NC 27157).
