He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee Brown and Carrie Martin; his husband Christopher John Philbeck; his brother-in-law Kenneth Carver; his nephew Dwayne Carver; and his in-laws, Ruby and Louis Philbeck.
He is survived by: his children, Karsten "Toby" Brown (Eduardo), Richard "Matthew" Brown (Gabriel) and Brandy Christopher (Joey); his siblings, Ralph L Brown, James R Brown (Cheryl) and Joyce Carver; and his grandchildren, Kimber Ellis and Colt Ellis.
