He is survived by: his children, Scott Austin (Kelly) of Salisbury and Tammi Hoopes (Greg) of Pinnacle; and his grandchildren, Lauren Hoopes, William Austin, David Austin and Henry Austin.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the United Baptist Church (5815 Murray Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
