He was predeceased by: his father Paul Martin; his close friend Carol Lynn Thomas; and his sons, Ricky and Kevin Martin. He is survived by: his children, Angelena Hicks (Al) and Raymond Martin (Laura); and his stepson Jonathan Sweet (Kim). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Silas Creek Chapel - Hayworth-Miller Funeral Homes & Crematory (3315 Silas Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27103).
