He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Horne and Thelma Horne. He is survived by: his wife Ann Herring Horne; his children, Michael Horne (Sara Gray) of Advance, NC, Greg Horne (Martha) of Calabash, NC and Susan Landrum (Mark) of Winston Salem; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Falls (Hartley), Katherine Horne, Lydia Landrum and Anna Landrum; and his great grandchild Ella Falls.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (300 N Cherry St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101).
