It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Tharpe in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on November 4, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Paul Tharpe; and his siblings, Eloise Baldwin and Billy Tharpe. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Brown Tharpe; his son Derrick Tharpe (Kristine); his grandchildren, Jordan Tharpe, Jackson Coates and Sean Coates; and his brothers, Harry Lee Tharpe and Barry Tharpe. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews.
