He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Holcomb and Nancy Shermer Holcomb; his wife Lois Young Holcomb; and his siblings, Jackie Tesh, Ted Holcomb and Lawrence Holcomb.
He is survived by: his children, Cindi Taylor (Mike) of Southport, Paul Holcomb, Jr. of Greensboro, Clay Andrew Holcomb of Butner and Barbara Hedgecock (James) of Kernersville; his sisters, Judie Holcomb-Pack and Jan Hooper; and his grandchildren, Neil Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Caleb Hedgecock, Matthew Hedgecock, Joaquin Holcomb and Lila Mae Holcomb.
