He is survived by: his wife Nancy Essic New; and his grandchildren, Tammie New Barber (Philip), Teresa New Williams, Tracie New Perry (Dave), Adam Barber and Michael Joyner (Laiken). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Parklawn Memorial Gardens (2730 Peters Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27127).
