She was predeceased by: her father Reverend Charlie H. Hazel Sr.; her husband William Carl Broome; and her siblings, Charlie Hazel Jr., Samuel Hazel, Paul Hazel, Naomi Fisher and Ruth Cooke.
She is survived by: her daughter Mia Parker (Greg); her granddaughters, Mariah and Morgan Parker; her sisters, Emma Neal Varner of Jacksonville and Mary Carter; and her niece Tondalaya Wright. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
Her actions reflected her beliefs as she faithfully donated to the Samaritan Ministries, Veterans organizations, St Jude's Hospital, TCT, Boys Town and more.
