He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Clemons, Sr. and Orester Clemons; and his wife Miriam Elaine Clemons. He is survived by: his son Elder Antwan R. Clemons; his siblings, Herbert Clemons, Clarence Clemons (Earnestine), McArthur Clemons (Lucille) and Laura Conyers; his goddaughter Dana Lightner; and his close friend Rick Byrd. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
