She is survived by: her husband James Yancey Spencer (Jimmy); her children, Betsy Neill Blue (Bill) and Thomas David Neill (Scottie); her stepdaughter Bartlett Spencer Bassett (Wyatt); her sister Betsy Creekmore (Wade); her grandchildren, Will Blue (Alison), Nancy Weadon (Ben), Kacie Baker (Reid), Mary Scott Rawlins (Campbell), Betsy Cohen (Dylan), Lydie Neill, Rob Neill, Elliott Brewer (Meredith), Spencer Brewer, Huntley Brewer, Ann Yancey Bassett and McKinley Bassett; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Connor, Bailey, Betsy, Claire, Holt and Johnny.
