It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mother Susie Jones Drayton (Winston Salem, North Carolina), born in Ellenwood, Georgia, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Pleas Patrick Jones and Bertha Freeman Jones; her husband Rev. Jerry Drayton; her son Attorney Jerry Drayton; her daughter-in-law Dr. Wilma T. Drayton; her nephew Eric Johnson (Gayle); her goddaughter Brenda Witherspoon; and also Shirley Lewis. She was also cherished by other nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
