He was predeceased by: his parents, James Corbin Jasper and Gurtha Grace Adams Jasper; his wife Lillie Faye Senters Jasper; his children, George Cross, James Jasper and Anna Mae Cross; his brother James Doyle Jasper; and his children-in-law, Tina Cross and Kevin Byars.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Cross of Pinnacle, NC and Donna Byars of Winston-Salem, NC; and his brother Phillip Jasper (Donna) of Epping, NH.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
