He is survived by: his wife Margaret Mullings Sanders (Tog); his children, Ancrum (Anc), Boykin Newman (Jenny Dawson) and Martha Dudley (Duffy); his grandchildren, Gwen Fletcher (Mason), Mary-Dudley Newman of Charlotte, NC and Alejandro David Newman-Schilling of Sonoma County, CA.; and his sister Martha (Muffy Newman).
Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to Saint Paul's Episcopal Church, or The Arbor Acres United Methodist Retirement Community.
