We are sad to announce that on June 23, 2023, at the age of 94, Merita J Stancill of Winston Salem, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Smith and Bessie Yokley Smith; her husband Louis Stancill; and her son Steve Stancill. She is survived by: her close friends, Reilly and Sadie; her son Michael Stancill (Julie Shore) of Advance; her granddaughters, Amanda Hodge (Drew) of Hampstead, NC and Jennifer Stancill of Milwaukee; her great grandchild Natalie Hodge; and her sister Donnie Idol (Jimmy) of High Point.
