It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Douglas Eudy (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away on January 6, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Margaret Eudy Kiger; his stepfather Clarence Kiger; and his siblings, Paul Kiger (Peggy Kiger), Ralph Kiger, Oscar Kiger (Peggy Kiger) and Maxine Kiger Armstrong.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Wade Eudy (Waraporn "Tee" Rattanapasopchok) and Ellen Eudy Middleton (Bradford D. Middleton); his siblings-in-law, Brenda Kiger and Westley Armstrong; his sister Patricia Jean Kiger Freeman (David Freeman); and his former wife Jane Ring Eudy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either the Forsyth Humane Society in honor of Tom, Melvin's cat, at 4881 Country Club Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27104, or to Oxford Children's Home, 600 College St, Oxford, NC 27565.
