She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Jones and Pearl Lee Melvin Dubose; her sister Lois Edwards; her brother-in-law Harrison Edwards, Sr.; her siblings, David Dubose and Dorothy Dubois; her grandparents, Mary Melvin and James Melvin; and her stepfather Robert Dubose, Sr..

She is survived by: her children, Ronald Jones, Maurice Harris and Sharon Renae Jones of Winston-Salem, NC; her goddaughter Lavonda Kelly; her grandchildren, Christal Renae Jones and Shemar Harris of Winston-Salem, NC; her siblings, Belinda Jessup of Winston-Salem, NC, Rosa Dubose of Whiting and Robert Dubose, Jr. (Maria); and her extended family Verna Simpson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
