With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Delores Fulton Johnson of Winston Salem, North Carolina, born in Kernersville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 8, 2023 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Odell and Viola Jones Fulton; her husband Fred Johnson; and her son David Eugene Johnson. She is survived by: her daughters, Enolagay L. Johnson and Elnora Laverne Johnson; her grandchildren, Shakeilah Johnson, Fredrun Johnson, Terren Johnson and Tommy J. Shore III; her brother William F. Fulton; her children, Howard Johnson and Helen Richards; her siblings-in-law, Eugene Johnson (Dorothy) of Columbia, SC and Shirley Fulton of Greenville, SC; and her friend Viola Ward. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
