It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maureen Mickey Liipfert (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away on February 13, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Cowles Liipfert; her son Cowles Liipfert, Jr.; her siblings, Ruth Mickey Thomas (Jerrold A. Thomas), Glen Franck Mickey and Alma Eileen Mickey (Warren Porter); her nieces and nephews, Mary Thomas O'Neal, Veronica Thomas, John Mickey, Elizabeth Mickey Sarno, Adam Mickey Porter and Andrew Mickey Porter; and also, Mary Louise Liipfert Williams, Arch Williams, Chris Williams, Landrum Williams, Bailey Liipfert, III and Catherine Liipfert. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
