She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Stewart and Ruby G. Stewart; and her husband Ernest Whitmore of Gate City, Virginia.. She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Stewart Whitmore Plein (Christopher Plein) of Morgantown and Jane Elizabeth Whitmore Pace (Mark Pace) of Clemmons. She is also survived by cousins, nephews, and nieces.
