With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Rode Kerr in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on March 31, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Frederick; and her husband Dr. Robert M. Kerr. She is survived by: her children, Summa Cum Laude and Elizabeth Kerr Wild (Matthew); her grandchildren, Madeline and Thomas of Winston-Salem, NC; her son Rob Kerr (Marcia); her grandchildren, Ashleigh, Bob, Casey, Luke, Zach and Colin of Orlando, FL; and her niece Carlie Caldwell of Winston-Salem, NC.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Arbor Acres Robinson Hall (1240 Arbor Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27104).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to Summit School, 2100 Reynolda Rd., Winston-Salem, NC, 27106, or to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, designated for the Summer Enrichment Program.
