It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lee Bell in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on November 17, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Carolyn Spencer; and her brothers, George Pendergrass and Marion Pendergrass. She is survived by: her former spouse A. R. Spencer; her husband William Bell; her son Eugene Spencer; her grandchildren, Gina Spencer of Briarwood, NY and Tyree Spencer of Atlanta, GA; her great grandchild Tyae Spencer; her niece Carolyn Harris of Union, SC; and her nephews, Terry and Donald Pendergrass of Gastonia, NC. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
