She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lahrue and Lou Etta Smith; and her husband Byron G. Becker. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Bramlett (Richard) and Robert Everette Simpson, Jr.; her granddaughters, Christi Grimsley, Wendy Caudle (Daniel) and Buffy Williams (Heath); her great grandchildren, Taylor Grimsley, Sydney Sanders, Landon Caudle, Ryland Caudle and Grayson Caudle; her great great grandchild Clayton Sanders; and her brother William D. Smith (Carolyn). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, 1075 Teague Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27107.
