She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Byrd and Ruby Cockerham Byrd; and her siblings, Becky Byrd Norman and Marvin Richard Byrd. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Edwards; her children, Marlina Greiwe and Byron Edwards; her grandchildren, Jack and Melaina Greiwe; her sister Ann Hutchens; and her sister-in-law Wanda Byrd (Oliff Jones). She is also survived by her best friend of 50 years, as well as a host of nieces, nephews extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Arts at Ardmore, Ardmore Baptist Church.
