He is survived by: his wife Dawn Kellar Higgins; his siblings, Sherri Higgins Puckett (Derrick) of Little River, SC and Melvin Higgins of Winston-Salem; his uncle Walter Higgins; his niece Staci Hill; his nephews, Kyle Higgins, Nicholas Higgins and Tyler Vestrat; his parents-in-law, Fred and Cathy Kellar; his sister-in-law Melissa Miller (Alex); and his pets, Myra, Rex and Maci.
