He was predeceased by: his parents, Geneva Coleman and Harry Coleman; and his brothers, Ronald Porter and Allen Parrish. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Coleman of Walkertown; his sisters, Elsie Coleman, Jean Murphy (James) of Winston-Salem and Mona-Lisa Ashby of Charlotte; and his children, Ilyse Turner (Ty), Martin Bailey (Shanita), Latoya Bailey of Winston-Salem, Steve Coleman (Paula) of Taylor, Regina "Twiggy" Coleman of Freeport, Lisa Parsons of Winston-Salem, Lamonte Covington of Winston-Salem, Stephen Covington of Winston-Salem, Sharon Coleman and Angela Coleman of Kansas City, Missouri.. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
