He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin L. Cagle, Sr. and Geneva Primm Cagle. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Harvel Cagle; his children, Cliff Cagle (Donna) and Crickett Choplin (late Chris); his grandchildren, Adam Cagle, Jake Cagle (Brooke), Courtney "Skooter" Choplin and Landon Choplin; his great grandchildren, Levi Garrett Cagle, Cole Thomas Cagle, Mason Clifton Cagle and Harper Leigh LeCompte; and his sister Eugenia Cagle. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
