It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha Charlotte Rock (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Van and Emily Frances Howell; her son Philip Edward; and her son-in-law Roger Boles. She is survived by: her significant other Ryland F. Rock Jr.; and her children, David (Debbie) of King, NC, Michael (Linda) of Moore, SC, Pam Boles of Staunton, VA and Joy Hardee (Kevin) of Concord, NC. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (3305 Peters Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27127). Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parklawn Memorial Park (2730 Peters Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27127).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the building fund of Grace Baptist Church.
