She was predeceased by: her parents, A. Leslie Hodson and Olive L. Hodson; her husband George D. Newton, Jr.; and her son George D. Newton, III. She is survived by: her daughters, Patti Van Cleave (Brian), Melinda Foukal and Debbie Carlson (John). She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
