She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arthur Helton and Eugene Blythe Helton; her former husband Clifton Lane Hester Jr.; and her grandson Joseph Lane Ritchie. She is survived by: her children, Craig Hester (Cheryll) and Debbie Lindley (Tim); and her grandsons, James Ritchie, Jonathan Ritchie, Noah Hester and Seth Hester.
