It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian Hicks Criner (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Blum Hicks and William Hicks; her husband Charles Criner (Charlie); her daughter Karen Diane Criner; and her siblings, Evelyn Postlewaite, Carolyn Sykes, Fred Hicks, William Hicks (Bill) and Walser Hicks.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Criner Fogleman (Darrell); and her grandsons, Jonathan (Charley), Harrold (Laura), Andrew Fogleman (Drew) and Adam Smith.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Salem Funeral and Cremation Services - Downtown (120 S Main St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
