It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mable Sloan Hauser (Winston Salem, North Carolina), born in Belton, South Carolina, who passed away on June 16, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Ardie Mae Sloan King; her husband Rev. Waldo S. Hauser, Sr.; and her siblings, Eddie King, Robert King, Ike Sloan, Booker T. Sloan, Daisy Ligons, Viola Rucker and Willie Mae Dean.
She is survived by: her children, Charlena Hill (Hunter) of Winston-Salem, Pauline Harris of Winston-Salem, Shirley Salter (James) of Winston-Salem, Waldo Hauser, Jr. (Arnetta) of Winston-Salem, Charles Hauser, Sr. of Winston-Salem and Argentina Hauser of Winston-Salem; and her sister-in-law Mattie Mae Glenn. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 54 great- great grandchildren; along with a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and close friends.
