Lydia Underwood Brendle Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lydia Underwood Brendle of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on August 20, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her daughter Adelia Brendle; her grandmother Ivar Reinhart Gram, II (Winston); and her sister Sally Underwood Ragan of Winston-Salem, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

There is no service at this time due to high incidences of COVID in the community; a memorial service is planned for a later time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to her favorite 501 (c)(3) non-profit for assisting domestic animals.
