It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lutrelle Brown (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away on September 9, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hosea Poole and Minnie Bell Poole; and her siblings, George, Roy Poole, Bernice Evans and Ola Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Gordon Brown (Carmen), Melissa Mowery and James Brown (Debbie); and her brother John Poole. She is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her love for medicine, her body was donated to the Bowman Gray School of Medicine. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Brookstown UMC for missions, 6274 Yadkinville Rd., Pfafftown, NC 27040, or to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103.
