He is survived by: his wife Dr. Tanya Hairston Ford; his children, Brandon W. Ford, Braxton D. Ford of Winston-Salem and La Donda S. Johnson (Harold) of Virginia Beach, VA; and his grandchildren, Au Dria C. Ford-Robinson, La Vette M. Johnson, Harold N. Johnson, Jr., Nupua S. Ford and Napharoah J. Ford. He is also survived by cousins, relatives, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Beulah Baptist Church (1352 Trade St NW, Winston-Salem, NC 27105).
