With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lewis Hardie Dodson of Winston Salem, North Carolina, born in Sandy Ridge, North Carolina, who passed away on December 29, 2020 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Orie Grogan and Turner Dodson; his wife Carrie Ruth Mabe Dodson; his son Mark Lewis Dodson; and his siblings, Hazel Stephens, Christine Wall, Delores Sullivan, Clyde and Marion Dodson.

He is survived by: his siblings, Rachel Dodson, Melvin Dodson, Wendell Dodson and Barry Dodson (Robbin).
