She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Monroe Smith and Addie Mae Smith; her husband Robert Lee Whitt; and her pet Shadow. She is survived by: her sons, Keith Whitt (Jennifer) and Vinnie Whitt (Lucy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Forsyth County Humane Society.
