She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Grady Bailey and Bonnie Hancock Hege; her daughter Kim; her husband Del; her children, Bailey Wall of Tuscon, AZ, Abby Wall of Boone, NC, Celeste Long of Winston Salem, Victoria Brotzman (Jacob) of Winston Salem and Zach Long (Kellie) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Maverick, Rhett Long, Loralei and Nolan Martin; and her siblings, Tammy Drawbaugh (Rob) and Mike Hege (Nicole).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at the Two Cities Church (1001 N Patterson Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. God wasn't done with her yet, so in the midst of the COVID pandemic, Kim opened The Salon at Buena Vista.
