He is survived by: his mother Kay Frances Bennett Welborn; his children, Kernesha Bennett, Chrishanda Bennett, Jamica Bennett, Kerney Bennett, Jr., Rekus Dunlap and Johnathan Bennett; his siblings, EugeniaBennett, Jasmine Bennett Pouncey, Reginald Tony Bennett, Orlando Kerry Bennett and Lamont Bennett; his nieces and nephews, Chikia McCoy, Rokeya McCoy, Candace Coleman, Ava Coleman, Richandra Pouncey, ShanTasia Pouncey and Tatyana Pouncey; and his friend Terry Kelly. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
