He was predeceased by: his parents, Patsy Jean Lighty and James Harold Lighty; and his sister Cheryl Lighty. He is survived by: his wife Debra Jones Lighty; his children, Harold Keith Pelzer, Darius Jamal Harvey and Kendra Brown; his grandchildren, Kyra Brown, Xavier Johnson, Da'Zari Harvey, Dax Harvey and Zamir Harvey; his brothers, James Leonard Lighty and Brian Carlton Lighty; his nephew Richard Lighty; his uncle Alonzo Lighty; his siblings-in-law, Donna Jones, Dwaine L. Simmons, Sr. (Jernell), Marcel Edwards, Derrick Jones and Frederick A. Johns, Jr.; and his friend Frederick Moore.
