He was predeceased by: his father Larry Laxton; his wife Rebecca "Janie" Laxton; and his son Bryan Laxton. He is survived by: his sister Lorie Walker (Terry) of Denton; his stepsons, Wayne Swanson (Kendall) and Scott Swanson (Mary); and his grandsons, Chase Swanson and Josh Hoffman.
