He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Henderson and Meardith Slagle Henderson; his wife Betty Nail Henderson; and his son Mendal Ray Henderson. He is survived by: his daughter Julie Walls (Jerry) of New London; and his grandchildren, Christopher Walls (JoAnn) and Tiffany Huggins (Lee).
