It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Hooper of Winston Salem, North Carolina, born in Whiteville, North Carolina, who passed away on November 9, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Byrne Hooper (Karen) of Winston-Salem and Thomas Warren Hooper (Janelle) of Salisbury; her grandchildren, Evan Thomas and Ava Thomas; and her sister Beth Davis Parker (Robert) of Thomaston, Georgia..
